I’m so excieted to listen.
Yeah, we got so many stories.

Happy birthday, Suzu. I have something special for you. Here is a present for you.
Thank you. What is inside of the box?
It is green, big and wet.
Oh, is it a lettuce?
No. It is a very sepcial present.
Can I open it?
Sure. But, be careful. Please open the box slowly.
Oh, no. I don’t like frogs.
This frog is so ugly and big.

I like it. And I actually like frogs too.

I chose this one for two big reasons.
The English was nearly perfect, and the story was really funny and creative.
It is difficult to be funny in your native language.
So I really admire someone who can be funny in a foreign language.

- 遥の夢
Haruka’s dream is a story I just had to share.

I’m going to do this homework today. Have you done it yet?
Yes, maybe.
I have to finish it by tomorrow. But I can’t answer this question. Oh.
Really? It’s easy.
Oh, Kyoko. How did you come in?
From the door, of course.
But it was locked. Anyway what is the answer to this question?
So, it’s ,,,

Get up, get up, Haruka. It’s already 8 o’clock.
What! I have to hurry up. Oh, I didn’t do my homework. Ms. Kanata will be angry.

That one is great. I had many dreams like this myself.
Yes, it is a very true story that has a place in all our heart.
and I’m pretty sure everyone has this type of dream, or nightmare, really
Both the story and Engish was wonderfully written.

凧揚げ
Oh, I’ve seen it in the sky. And it was so pretty.
And it reminded me, when I was a little girl, and me and my dad used to actually try and make own kite. It has a nostalgic feeling for me.

日本の正月で好きなこと
For me, of course I’m interested in the food. So I quite like Japanese Osechi Ryori.
It’s an interesting treat. We can only get once a year.
I like them quite a lot. The big reason is many of the dishes are, what we would call acquired taste.
A little bit difficult to enjoy it first, but later you start to love them and want them every year.

acquired taste
