3 火 L62 夏の風物詩
Welcome, everyone.
Hey, friends.

Today’s story.
There is something Miki loves about summer in Japan. What is it?
Here we go.

This is my first Independence Day. Everyone is in a happy mood.
The Fourth of July is the highlight of summer in the United States. What about Japan? What is a Japanese summer like?
Well, I love bon festivals.
What are they?
They are traditional Japanese events. Many neighborhoods have one. Some people wear yukata, or cotton kimonos, and dance. Others walk around food stalls.
That sounds fun.

Miki says,”I love bon festivals.”
So the answer is bon festivals.

What is a Japanese summer like?
I love bon festivals.
