Welcome to Kiso Eigo 2, summer special.
Hi, I’m Geoff. How’s it going?
Aloha, friends. I’m Samantha.

Let’s listen to highlights from April to July.
And let’s have fun.
Here we go.

Welcome to review time.
Hello, hello.
It’s lovely to see you back.

Story of this week.
So let’s start Monday’s story.

Q1: What is Miki going to do after school?

I’m going to practice baseball with my friends after school. We have a game soon.
I’m free today. I can watch your practice.
Great!
America is the home of baseball. Maybe the other students are really good players.
I hope so! I want a challenge.
Guess what? I have tickets for a Major League game.
Dad, that’s wonderful! When is it?
They are for June.
Oh, I can’t wait.

Q1: What is Miki going to do after school?
A:1 She is going to practice baseball.

Moving on to Tuesday’s story.

Q2: What time does the practice start?
Pick up ears out.

Hi, Maria、what’s up?
Where is Chris?
He will be here later. He is busy right now. You know that.
Oh, right.
Chris finishes work around noon. The practice starts at two. He can come at three.
You know a lot about Chris’s schedule.
He told me. He can practice with us. He promised me.
He promised you?
Yeah, sure.
Chris doesn’t like a lot of attention. Don’t bother him.
Huh?

Q2: What time does the practice start?
A2: It starts at two.

And now for Wednesday’s story.

Q3: What will Hidemi do tomorrow?
Let’s listen and find out.

You did a good job. This garden is a nice size for a beginner.
Thanks for your help.
No problem. You will be a good gardener.
I hope so. I liked the vegetables from your garden. They were delicious.
You can grow delicious vegetables too. What seeds do you have?
Well … eggplant, cucumber, green pepper …
That’s good. Now plant the seeds tomorrow. It will rain hard tonight.
Okay, I’ll do that.

Q3: What will Hidemi do tomorrow?
A3: She will plant the seeds.

+ Tell us more
Sure. Listen up.

Did you go to baseball games in New York City?
Yes, I did. My friends and I would wear our team’s hat and jersey, cheer for our favorite players, and do the wave.
And I love the music, too. Charge!

What food do you usually eat in the stadium?
In the history of baseball people ate peanuts.
Right. There is a song about it.
Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jack,
And the title of the song is “Take me up to the ball game.”
I also enjoy a hotdog and soda.
Mmm. So let’s
root, root, root for the home team,
If they don’t win, it’s a shame.
For it’s one, two, three strikes, you’re out,
At the old ball game.

watch / look / see 「見る」
I can watch your practice.

watch TV、watch a movie

Look at the blackboard。
Look at the picture。
Can you see the blackboard?
see a movie

watch TV
Look at the picture.
Can you see the blackboard?

That was a fascinating lesson.
I hope you enjoyed it.

Bye, bye
See you next time.
See you tomorrow.
