Rosa Akino, here. So, how have you guys been?
That’s great, Rosa, using what we learned yesterday.
Mmm, let me include what we’re going to do today.
Hi, everyone. I’m Chris McVay. I think you have never enjoyed studying English as much as you will today.
I’ve eaten wild deer.
What does this sentence mean?
For more information, take a look at the textbook.
ever = at any time いつの時点でも
Rosa, have you ever ridden in a hot-air balloon?
Actually, I’ve never ridden in a hot-air ballon, but I would love to. How about you, Chris?
Actually, I have ridden in a hot-air ballon.
Yes, when I lived in Spain, my wife, I knew she loved hot-air balloons, so I arranged the special birthday surprise. The problem is I’m really, really scared of heights.
But she insisted that she go up in a hot-air balloon, I have to do it too. So, I did it. I was so scared. But actually, then I really enjoyed the silence of the ride. It was a wonderful experience. I recommended to both of you.
That’s such a wonderful birthday present.
I didn’t know you are such a kind guy.
Chris, Rosa, do you like my present perfect exercises?
I love it. I always practice with my pillow, and bring it close to me, and then I just fall asleep.
I use a mug of coffee, so I don’t fall asleep. I have this mug of coffee and bring it close to my chest. It’s a wonderful way to present this part of grammar.
