「すると」
Well, there are two ways. The first one is “then, -” kind of dramatic. And if you want to be even more dramatic, you say “Now -”
「くしゃみをし始めます」 start,
Yeah, the pattern would be “start doing”. So we’d say, “start sneezing” Ah, we can also use the word, “begin”, and say “begins sneezing” , both are fine??

「風邪を引き始めていないことを願います」
Well, just like in a dialogue, we’re going to use the present progressive tense. We are going to say, Betty hopes he’s not catching a cold.
-doesn’t catch a coldだとどうなりますか?
Well, you could say Betty hopes he doesn’t catch a cold, but the meaning is slightly different. When we say, Betty hopes he doesn’t catch a cold, we’re saying he hasn’t caught anything yet. But he might in the future.
この辞典で風邪はひいていない
Yeah, so but when we say Betty hopes he’s not catching a cold, there is a small chance that he’s already caught a cold, but he’s hoping otherwise.

Sam is in bed resting. Then Jack starts sneezing. Betsy hopes he’s not catching a cold.
Sam is in bed resting. Now J Jack begins sneezing. Betsy hopes he’s not catching a cold.

-In Another Situation!
It’s many, many years later ずっと何年もあとである。
