Huh? Is that a plate of tonkatsu on the roof of that taxi?
It’s not tonkatsu. It’s Chicken Nanban, a specialty of Miyazaki. That taxi takes people sightseeing around Miyazaki and then to eat Chicken Nanban.
So, what does it taste like?
Well, it’s fried chicken dipped in sweet and sour sauce. You eat it with creamy tartar sauce. It’s delicious! Great! Then, let’s get off this bus right now and go eat it.
I want to eat it, too, but I want to visit somewhere else first.
I’m Ben. Today, Akito and I are in Miyazaki City in Miyazaki Prefecture. We did a show this morning, so I am really hungry. But Akito wants to go somewhere before lunch. We are going there by bus.

Yes. It’s a very popular shrine called Udo Jingu. About one million people visit it each year. It’s called a “power spot.”
