テルマはエミリーと自宅にいます。 外はどしゃ降り。 突然、 屋根から雨漏りが・・・・・・。
(Thelma is at home with Emily. It’s pouring down outside. Suddenly rain leaks from the roof.)

来ると思っていたサムの姿が見えない時に、
(When you can’t see Sam, who you thought was coming,)
A: I thought Sam was coming, too.
B: Unfortunately, she caught a cold and can’t come today.
A: サムも来ると思ってたのに。
B: 残念だけど、風邪ひいちゃって今日は来られないの

サムも来ると思っていたのに来なかったので、 I thought … と言って残念がっています。
