Learning a word means hearing it and understanding its meaning
Learning a word means to understand its meaning by reading it
Learning a word means being able to speak with correct pronunciation
Learning a word means being able to write it with the correct spelling

(It is easier to remember phrases and sentences than just words.
Therefore, the best way to memorize is to say the sentences you have learned over and over again so that you can write them down.)
