幸多とブライオニーは、サーフィン競技会に出場します。

今回は、サーフィンの大会の基本的なルールなどについて説明します。
This time, I will explain the basic rules of surfing competitions.
試合: サーフィンでは各試合のことを「ヒート」と呼びます。
In surfing, each match is called a “heat”.
1ヒートでは、4~5人の選手が競い合います。
4-5 players compete in one heat.
ヒート時間: 1ヒートの競技時間は、 だいたい15分から20分ほど。 ホーンの合図で始まり、この間、 何本でも滑走することが可能です。
The competition time for one heat is about 15 to 20 minutes. It starts with the signal of the horn, and it is possible to run any number of runs during this time.
採点方法 : ジャッジ (審査員) が選手たちの技を審査します。
Judges will judge the skills of the athletes.
1滑走ごとに、 技の種類、 技の難易度、スピードなどをもとに点数を出します。
For each run, a score is given based on the type of trick, difficulty of the trick, speed, etc.
1本の得点は10点満点です。
One score is out of 10 points.
ジャッジが5人の場合、 最高点と最低点をカットした後、 残りの3人の得点の平均点を得点とします。
If there are 5 judges, after cutting the highest and lowest scores, the score will be the average score of the remaining 3 scores.
得点が高いほうから2本の合計スコアで争います。
