最初に出てくる表現は、power station「発電所」
power station「発電所」ですが、直前にnuclear power「原子力（発電）」とあるので、文脈から「原子力発電所」という意味だと分かります。nuclear power station の nuclear が省略された表現です。

Right. You also heard “power plant” in today’s story. That’s another way of saying power station.
