Mr. Benes spoke about a wide range of UNICEF activities, relating them to his own experiences. We all know that UNICEF is the agency that helps children around the world and is probably one of the most widely known within UN-related organizations. However, the true extent of their activities may be less known. For instance, I personally didn’t know how central a role UNICEF played in vaccine procurement and distribution.
