This is an exchange on the phone with a friend at home.
You can ask where you are now, what the weather is like, etc.

1). 今、外にいますか?
Are you outside now?

2). 今、雨が降っていますか?
Is it raining now?

3). (There was a loud noise.)今のは雷ですか?
Was that thunder?

4). 電話の向こうで、誰かが玄関のベルを鳴らしているようです。
(Beyond the phone, someone seems to be ringing the bell at the entrance.)
あ、ごめんなさい…。 待ってもらえますか?
