Let’s get started with Day 8 for the month of February. 
Thanks for joining us.
Jenny and I have a good lesson for you about technology.
That’s right. We’re going to practice some phrases to use with a smart speaker.
スマートスピーカーとは、音声認識機能を使って、音楽を再生したり天気やニュースを調べたりすることが出来るデバイスです。
(A smart speaker is a device that uses voice recognition to play music, check the weather and news, and more.)
Actually I use a smart speaker everyday. I use it for music, news, weather and I set an alarm with my smart speaker.
そのスマートスピーカーに英語で簡単な指示を出す場面を思い浮かべて下さい。
(Imagine giving a simple command in English to that smart speaker.)
そこで使える表現を練習します。
(We’ll practice expressions that can be used there.)
OK. Let’s begin with our first time trial.
I’ll say something in Japanese. And you say it in English. Here is the first one.

1). このスマートスピーカーで音楽を聞きましょう
Start with “Let’s listen to -.” Go ahead.
Now here is the next one.
2. 音声の指示で動きます。
In English 音声の指示 is voice commands.
So use that to make the sentence. Go ahead.
And the next sentence has 起動ワード. そのワードを言うと、スマートスピーカーが起動します。(Saying that word will wake up the smart)
How do you say 起動ワード in English?
In English is wake word. Now let’s say these two sentences. Here we go.
