夕飯をどうするか相談中のテルマとエミリー。 近くのインド料理店はやっているかな、とエミリーが聞くので、 テルマは、確かあそこは定休日なかったよなぁ、というキモチで、(Thelma and Emily discussing what to do for dinner. Emily asked if there was an Indian restaurant nearby.)
「自分の知るかぎりは1週間休まず開いていると思う」とas far as I know を使っています。 このようにas far as I knowは、副詞 far が程度を表して「〜が知っている範囲では」という意味になります。
