稽古場から声が聞こえるので見に行くと、けんとが稽古場のすぐそばでマンガを読んでいます。
(I heard a voice coming from the rehearsal room, so I went to see Kento reading manga right next to the rehearsal room.)

日本の相撲のことです。
It’s Japanese sumo.
相撲はアメリカでもよく知られているのでしょうか?
Is sumo well known in America?
はい、よく知られていますよ。 (Yes, it is well known.) そのままsumo, sumo wrestling と言いますね。
日本の伝統的なスポーツで、ぼくは興味を持っていましたよ
(It’s a traditional Japanese sport, and I was interested in it.)
わたしも、聞いたことはあったけどルールはよく知りませんでした。 お相撲さんが相撲部屋でいっしょに生活するようすも、新鮮で興味深いです。
I’ve heard of it too, but didn’t know the rules. It is fresh and interesting to see the sumo wrestlers living together in the sumo stable.
