現在形と現在進行形のちがい
①は今現在、英語の勉強をしている最中です。 今現在、 動作が継続していることを表しています。
(Now I’m studying English. This indicates that the operation is currently continuing.)
②は習慣的に英語を勉強していることを表しています。 現在形と名前がついていますが、過去から未来にかけて幅広い 「時」を表しています。(It shows that you study English habitually. Although it is called present tense, it represents a wide range of “time” from the past to the future.)
毎日と言う訳ではなく、数年に一回でも、
I play tennis.

現在進行形
I am studying English. (今、まさに英語を勉強している状況)
現在形
I study English. (習慣的に英語の勉強をする状況)

現在進行形の否定文をつくるときは、 be動詞の直後に not を置き、 そのあとに動詞のing形を続けます。

夜、電話がかかってきたので、あなたが電話に出るとおばさんからでした。
(One night, you received a phone call, and when you answered the phone, it was your aunt.)
「家族のみんなは、 今、何をしているの?」 と聞かれるので、あなたの家族のうち3人が何をしているのか説明しましょう。
(When asked, “What is everyone in your family doing now?”, explain what three members of your family are doing.)
本当のことでなくてもいいです。兄弟姉妹がいなくても、いるつもりで、していそうなことを話してください。
(It doesn’t have to be real. Talk about what you would do even if you didn’t have any brothers or sisters.)
