dislike 〜を嫌う , hate よりもやや弱い意味合い。
as for -, 〜に関しては
boring 退屈な、うんざりさせる
the past 過去、過去のできごと , present, future
memorize 〜を暗記する
In summary, まとめると、

Listen to the conversation again and answer the following questions in English.
1 What’s the reason why many students like math?
2 What’s the reason why many students don’t like history?

1 They like math because there is only one answer to each question.

2 They don’t like history because it’s boring.
