Sounds good.
Sandy?
Yeah?
In Japan, students usually walk, ride bikes, or take trains and buses. How do students usually go to school in Australia?
Well, in primary school, many students live close to their schools. So, sometimes students would walk to school, but a lot of the time, their parents take them to school by car. In high school, we often live further away from the school. bSo, we might go to school by bus, by train, or by car. But our train system was not very good in Brisbane, where I’m from. So, mostly the bus and car.
In America, we have school buses. Were the buses that you all took in Australia school buses or city buses?
In Australia, we don’t really have school buses.
Oh.
Most students take the city bus.
Oh, Wow.
We didn’t have a lot of buses when I was going to school. My bus came every 30 minutes. And sometimes it was late. Often it was late. And sometimes it didn’t come at all.
Oh, dear.
