いつもエミリーが閉め忘れることを知っているテルマは、「また開いてた、 何回あなたに言わなければいけないの?」
(Thelma, who knows that Emily always forgets to close it, asks, “How many times do I have to tell you it’s open again?”)
というキモチで How many times…? を使っています。
このように How many times ..? は単純に回数を聞くだけでなく、 「何回･･･させるの?」 と文句を言いたいときによく使います。
