沖縄のアメリカ軍普天間基地の移設先となっている名護市辺野古での軟弱地盤の改良工事をめぐり、工事を承認しない県に対して国が行った「是正の指示」が違法かどうかが争われた裁判で、最高裁判所は「国の指示は適法だ」として上告を退ける判決を言い渡し、沖縄県の敗訴が確定しました。
