主語と目的語について
「〜は」 や 「~が」 にあたる部分を主語と呼びます。 英語の肯定文や否定文では文の最初に置きます。 主語として置けるのは名詞と代名詞、名詞の役割を持つ語句だけです。
(The part corresponding to “〜は” or “〜が” is called the subject. In English affirmative and negative sentences, it is placed at the beginning of the sentence. Only nouns, pronouns, and words that act as nouns can be placed as subjects.)

「~を」や「~に」 にあたる部分を目的語と呼びます。 英文では一般動詞や前置詞の直後に置きます。 目的語として置けるのも名詞と代名詞、名詞の役割を持つ語句だけです。
(The part corresponding to “〜を” or “〜に” is called the object. In English, it is placed immediately after a general verb or preposition. Only nouns, pronouns, and words that act as nouns can be placed as objects.)
