Related, or connected corresponding to part of something, someone, or something that is connected to something else. For example what are the risks associated with this medication.
distinctive 際立った
Having a particular or unique trait, having a characteristic being able to distinguish or defferentiate from others.
make a parallel to -, ~と比較する
To use an analogy to compare, especially to find similarities. Maestro Slatkin made a parallel between NHK’s symphony orchestra and the business world to explain his point. Making parallels to things can sometimes provide us with context and information that may be difficult to explain.
