メープルシロップでおなじみのカナダ

今月はカナダが舞台ということで、 特産品のメープルシロップが頻繁に登場しますよ。
(This month’s story is set in Canada, so maple syrup, a specialty product, will be featured frequently.)
今回の対話カラオケではホテルの宿泊客へのおもてなしで、 コーヒーを甘くするsweetener (甘味料) としてメープルシロップが使われていました。
(In this conversation karaoke, maple syrup was used as a sweetener to sweeten coffee as a treat for hotel guests.)
コーヒーによく合うので試してみてくださいね。 実は、 メープルシロップはどれも同じというわけではなく、味や色は種類によってさまざま。
(It goes well with coffee, so give it a try. In fact, not all maple syrup is the same, and the taste and color vary depending on the type.)
