旅先での安全対策 「すり」について(Safety measures while traveling About pickpockets)
今回は公共交通機関での移動で気をつけたい 「すり」が話題に出ました。
(This time, we talked about pickpockets that you should be careful about when traveling on public transportation.)
実は、すりは単独よりも複数人で行われることがよくあります。 1人が注意をそらすためにターゲットに話しかけ、 別の1人がそのすきに財布を盗むという手口です。
(In fact, pickpocketing is often done in groups rather than alone. One person talks to the target to divert their attention, and another person uses the opportunity to steal the wallet.)
電車では、赤の他人が突然話しかけてきたりぶつかってきたりしたら注意してください。
(Be careful if a stranger suddenly talks to you or bumps into you on the train.)
場合によっては大声で Move back! や Go away! と言わなければならないことも。
パッと英語が出てこなくても、日本語で 「近づかないで!」 と言えば十分効果的ですよ。
(Even if you can’t come up with a word in English, saying “Don’t get too close!” in Japanese will be effective enough.)
「世界横断の旅」 での経験を生かして、実際の海外旅行でも「安全第一 (Safety first.)」で行きましょうね。
