日本語でも、経済や金融などのニュースが苦手というケースは多いものですが、ニュースの中身や背景をあらかじめ知っていれば、それが英語ニュースでも分かる可能性が高まります。
(Even in Japanese, there are many cases where news such as economics and finance is not good, but if you know the content and background of the news in advance, the possibility of understanding English news will increase.

よって、背景知識を増やしましょう。まずは、似たニュースの内容を日本語で読むことから始めることをおすすめします。
