Today’s Email
理沙は WCS 東京支社より採用決定の連絡を受けました。ロンドン本社のダニエルに簡単なお礼のメールを書こうとしています。
(Risa was contacted by the WCS Tokyo branch office about the hiring decision. She wants to write a quick thank you email to Daniel at the London headquarters.)

What to include in your email
メールに盛り込む内容
① 採用となって最高にうれしい。
( I am very happy that I was hired.)
②「立つ鳥あとを濁さず」ということわざ通り、今の職場で最後まで誠意を尽くしたい。
(As the proverb says, “Don’t muddy your standing bird’s mark,” I want to do my best in my current workplace until the very end.)
③ 来月の入社を楽しみにしている。
I am looking forward to joining the company next month.

-Points to Check
最高にうれしい気持ちは、 どんなフレーズを使ったら伝わるでしょうか?
誠意を尽くすという部分はどのように表現しますか?
(What kind of phrases would you use to convey your happiest feelings?
How would you describe the sincerity part?)

I was over the moon. 「月を越えるくらい幸せな気分」 、大喜びしているときに使える。
「鳥は去ろうとする巣を汚さない」
It’s an ill bird that fouls its own nest.
Leave everything neat and tidy when you go.
「誠意を尽くす」 という気持ちは、work in good faith 誠意を持って、誠実に、善意で
