BBC learning English -The passive: 4 simple steps. #shorts

受動態の作り方
Here’s how to make the passive in four simple steps.
Use the passive when the subject of a sentence is obvious unknown or not important.
Step 1
Move the object to the start of the sentence.
Step 2
Use the verb to be in the correct tense. 時制
In this example, stole is simple past. So use was and “my bike” is singular.
So it’s was, not were.
Step 3
Take the main verb and use the past participle form.
Step 4 is optional, but if you want to say “Who did this?”
Use by, but it’s often not necessary.
And you’re done.
